Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information

Your privacy choices under U.S. state privacy laws

The short version

Posthorn does not sell or share your personal information — full stop. We’re local-first, so your messages and data never reach our servers in the first place.

We don’t sell or share your data

Under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA/CPRA) and similar U.S. state laws (Colorado, Connecticut, Virginia, and others), “sale” and “sharing” have specific meanings around disclosing personal information for money or for cross-context behavioral advertising. Posthorn does neither. We don’t run ad networks, we don’t share your data with advertisers, and we don’t sell it to anyone.

Why there’s nothing to opt out of

Posthorn is local-first: the email, calendar, messages, and chat it reads stay on your devices and are never uploaded to us. There is no profile of you on our servers to sell or share. See our Privacy Policy for the details.

Global Privacy Control

We honor the Global Privacy Control (GPC) opt-out signal. Since we don’t sell or share data, there’s nothing for it to disable — but we respect it regardless. Learn more at globalprivacycontrol.org.
